A set of three models: Rat Model / Fish Model / Paramecium Model
Rat Model
An ideal introduction to mammalian anatomy, which can be used in the classroom in place of some dissections. Clearly coloured, the model is male, life size and mounted on a plastic base. The heart and lungs, liver and stomach, and intestines are removable to show other internal organs. A key card with 5 detailed diagrams is supplied. Base size 30x15cm.
Fish Model
Lateral view of a general dissection of a typical bony fish. The features shown include digestive tract, gills, fins, gonads and swim bladder. Some detail of the nervous, circulatory and skeletal systems also shown. Carefully painted and mounted on a plastic base size 37.5x17cm.
Paramecium Model
A detailed model showing internal and external features of Paramecium, including meganucleus, micronucleus, oral groove, buccal cavity, food vacuoles, contractile vacuoles, trichocysts and locomotory cilia. Mounted on base and supplied with key card. Size 25x12cm.
