DUSTING FOR FINGERPRINTS CLASS KIT

Students learn to prepare fingerprint evidence and to stabilize, dust, and lift
latent fingerprints, then identify the prints by comparison to the minutia of
inked prints. Includes advanced techniques using carbon, aluminium, magnetic,
and fluorescent powders, magnetic applicators, fibreglass brushes, and camel
fingerprinting brushes. Students apply their new expertise to determine the
best methodologies for collecting prints from unusual surfaces and analyse
print evidence to solve a crime at the Museum of the Modern Detective.
Includes supplies for 24 students working in teams, complete instruction
manual, reproducible student procedures, and assessment materials. Hood,
