CELLS I
The focus of this kit is to learn about cell structures and organelles and correlate cell structure with function. Students view living and dead cells, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, live plant and animal cells, and live microorganisms from pond water. Students gaining experience making wet mounts and stain cells using iodine and methylene blue. Includes cell theory, mitosis and cytokinesis. Designed to share reagents in groups of four. Requires microscopes, goggles, gloves, pond water, potato, and onion. Grade 7-10. Box dimensions B-Box 12 x 11 x 4-1/2 inches
