Lyophilized sera allow prolonged, stable storage and shelf life. Each set reconstitutes to 5 ml Anti-A serum and 5 ml Anti-B serum with addition of sterile or distilled water.
Sera are tested for HbsAg and HTLV-III (AIDS), however, standard laboratory practices should be used when handling and all biological products should be treated as if capable of transmitting disease. Refrigerate after reconstituting to extend shelf life.
