A simple experiment for studying centripetal force. Topics also include tangential motion and centripetal acceleration. Students record real data to calculate real forces. Includes instructor?s manual, guided calculations and assessment questions, sample data, complete answer keys, and materials for all experiments. Also includes a teacher demonstration. Required, but not included: balance or scale accurate to .01 g. Appropriate for any level physics course (including AP) as well as general science courses.
