This water bath provides a stable temperature environment ideal for meeting quality control requirements featuring digital PID temperature control for precision. Controls feature auto alarm settings, illuminated on/off switch, heater and over temperature indications. Every water bath undergoes a factory calibration at two reference temperatures validating each bath for total confidence in use. Each bath comes complete with a removable EduScience “low” height stainless steel perforated shelf. Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish, hygienic coating which actively inhibits bacterial growth, with good chemical resistance. Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers the underside base of the tank, providing rapid energy transfer, quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity. Featuring side lifting handles for ease of transportation.
Controls Featuring bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of 0.1 C, using precision PID temperature control. Settings retained even after turning the unit off. Easy to use splash proof controls, touch keypads for setting temperature values with indicators for heating and over temperature alarm. Features auto setting over and under temperature alarm protecting samples at set temperature. Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation.
Safety Features Thermal safety cut out fitted in the heater. Over temperature alarm automatically set 4C above set temperature with visual indicator and heating is turned off protecting samples from over heating. IP rated clear booted on/off power switch. Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet.
Heating/Cooling Information Above 60 C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres – see accessories. Covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs. This range of baths are not designed for boiling, the NE1B boiling bath range is recommended.

The shelf is a low height design maximizing the working height in the bath, either needing less water when compared with traditional water baths or allowing tall containers or vessels to be immersed to a greater working depth. Before leaving our factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book. 5. Painted surfaces and control panel surfaces feature ?anti-bacterial technology? which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments. The EduScience range features easy to clean surfaces and finishes that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfections. The efficacy of the finish is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
